Job description
Overview

The integrated Rehabilitation Service, consisting of Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy services, is looking for an enthusiastic Physiotherapist who wishes to develop their clinical skills in a dynamic and supportive environment. The successful candidate will be based within the Elderly Rehabilitation Team and will deliver high quality assessment, treatment and advice for patients within our acute hospital. This role will be available part time or full time, with weekend working as part of an agreed rota and respiratory on‑call when all competencies are passed.

Responsibilities

As a senior member of the multidisciplinary team you will manage your own caseload independently, safe and seamless transfer of patients through their journey. You will liaise closely with patients, carers and colleagues across the team, acting as an advocate to safeguard patient well being and promote a positive experience. You will develop and deliver in‑service training, on‑call training sessions, supervise junior physiotherapists and mentor students. You will also support patient discharge planning and work closely with the wider rehabilitation programme.
