Qualifications

• A degree in sports science or exercise science.
• BASES membership.
• REPS Level 2 Fitness Instructor.
• REPS Level 3 Exercise Referral; REPS Level 4 (preferred).
• BASES CEP registration could be applied for after offer.

Responsibilities

• Develop therapeutic relationships to promote physical activity and support positive lifestyle changes.
• Conduct pre-activity health screens and review appointments, taking baseline measurements.
• Prescribe and facilitate exercise plans for adults with mental health needs.
• Liaise with MDT and attend ward meetings regarding exercise plans and patient progress.
• Document detailed care plans and progress notes in the electronic medical record.
