Qualifications

  • Post-registration experience in nursing is required.
  • Willingness to undertake Trust Mandatory Courses.
  • Knowledge of the Mental Health Act 1987.

Responsibilities

  • Assess care needs and develop individual care plans.
  • Provide person-centered care to patients and families.
  • Participate in the internal rotation system including weekend work.

Excellent verbal and written skills
Ability to form positive therapeutic relationships
Ability to assess situations and make decisions
Ability to work as part of a team

Education

Registered Nurse (Mental Health) with current NMC registration
