Job summary

Cygnet Health Care is seeking an Occupational Therapist to assess and treat young people with occupational dysfunction in an inpatient CAMHS setting. You will be supported by a multidisciplinary team across CAMHS wards and Forestwood Hospital, focusing on the care pathway from admission to discharge.

The role offers robust supervision, a structured preceptorship and ongoing development with RCOT-aligned professional learning opportunities and induction programs.

Qualifications

• Experience or training in Occupational Therapy within inpatient mental health settings.
• Ability to work with a multidisciplinary team (MDT) to support service users.
• Participation in supervision, CPD, preceptorship and learning opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat occupational dysfunction for up to 12 young people in inpatient CAMHS.
• Work with the CAMHS unit Forestwood across four wards, with OT teams.
• Contribute to service development and clinical model of care from admission to discharge.
