Job summary

Crane is seeking a Test & Measurement Software Development Engineer to design and implement software, firmware, and electronic solutions for Druck products. You will analyze and update applications to support hardware refreshes and perform fault diagnostics on integrated systems.

The role requires degree-level software training or relevant experience, strong problem-solving, and the ability to work both independently and in teams with clear communication.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified or suitable previous experience in a software programming discipline.
• Genuine desire to solve problems in a real-world setting.
• Able to demonstrate skills from listening and self-learning.
• Demonstrate good Mathematical/Statistical skills.
• Able to communicate and relay problems in a concise manner.
• Comfortable working on individual and group projects.

Responsibilities

• Create new software, firmware and electronic solutions using the latest technologies to enable successful testing of Druck products.
• Analyse, maintain and update new and existing software applications to support hardware refresh activities.
• Perform fault finding diagnostics on integrated software & electronic systems.
• Produce and maintain clear software documentation in line with Druck standards and best practices.
• Provide technical support to manufacturing operations in all Druck manufacturing sites.
