Job summary

DCS Recruitment seeks an Electronics Hardware Engineer in Yateley to join a specialist engineering team. You will design, develop and test complex electronic hardware, guiding products through full lifecycle from concept to production.

The role covers analogue and digital hardware, schematic capture, PCB layout, FPGA/firmware development and ongoing hardware support. On-site, permanent position with room to grow in a tight-knit team.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in Electronic Engineering or similar with 2:1 or above.
• Proven experience in electronic hardware design across analogue and digital.
• Hands-on testing and fault-finding capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Schematic capture and analogue/digital hardware design.
• PCB layout for multi-layer boards and testing.
• Debugging and fault-finding across hardware and firmware.
• Develop firmware and support FPGA design.
• Support product lifecycle from design to production and obsolescence management.
• Create design and technical documentation.
