Job summary

Freshfields seeks an experienced Innovation Project Manager to lead the delivery of strategic innovation initiatives, applying agile, hybrid or waterfall methods as needed. You will coordinate multiple workstreams and ensure governance, risks, and benefits are managed across the firm.

You will engage senior stakeholders, translate business requirements into clear scope and success criteria, and partner with Legal, Security, Procurement and Transformation teams to deliver measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering projects within innovation, technology, digital transformation or related environments.
• Strong project management expertise with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience producing business cases, project plans, governance documentation and executive reporting.
• Ability to operate effectively in fast-changing and uncertain environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of innovation initiatives aligned to strategic business objectives across the firm.
• Establish robust project governance, milestones, dependencies and controls; produce plans and status reports.
• Engage senior stakeholders and coordinate across Business Teams, Innovation, Technology and Legal.
• Coordinate pilots, adoption and change enablement, ensuring user engagement and value realization.
• Manage relationships with vendors and partners, overseeing delivery commitments and commercial terms.
