• Responsibility for the coordination and chartering of dry cargo vessels, independent negotiation of freight rates.
• Representing the company as a competent contact person in day-to-day business for our customers, business partners and suppliers from various economic sectors.
• Independent preparation of quotations for our transport services, entry of orders into our IT system, creation of
• Transport documents and invoicing of transport services provided
• Maintaining a network of customers, business partners, ship owners and ship captains

Required

• Successfully completed commercial or logistics training, ideally with a focus on shipping or freight forwarding; career changers and those new to the field are also very welcome.
• Strong communication skills and enjoyment of teamwork, "out-of-the-box" thinking
• Strong service orientation and hands-on mentality, flexibility in dealing with spontaneous assignments in day-to-day business
• A high sense of responsibility as well as a reliable, structured and meticulous work ethic.
• IT affinity, especially knowledge of MS 365 Excel and Word
• Good written and spoken English skills are desirable, but not a mandatory requirement; knowledge of Dutch is an advantage.
