Ink Room Operator & Facilitator, Close to Halifax, Up to £40k (DOE) - Mix of day and night shifts

My Client, a well established (more than a century), family owned, profitable and growing corrugated packaging business, is looking for a proactive and organised Ink Room Operator & Facilitator to join their team.

This hands‑on role is central to ensuring the smooth supply of inks across their manufacturing processes, helping them deliver high-quality products on time.

What you’ll be doing :

Producing inks to match planned production volumes

Managing ink stock efficiently, minimising waste

Delivering inks to manufacturing lines and collecting used buckets

Maintaining base stock levels and booking items back into stock

Keeping the ink room clean, organised, and running smoothly

What we’re looking for :

Previous experience in a manufacturing or production role in a UK business

Previous experience in an Ink Room in a UK manufacturing / production business

Strong attention to detail and a practical, methodical approach

Organisational skills and ability to work independently

Knowledge of inks / colour matching

A valid Forklift Truck (FLT) licence (preferred)

Week 1 – Day 12 hrs shift (6am – 6pm)

  • Mon / Tues / Fri / Sat / Sun

Week 2 - Day 12 hrs shift (6am – 6pm)

  • Wed / Thu

Week 3 - Nights 8 hrs shift (10pm – 6am)

  • Sun / Mon / Tue / Wed / Thu
