Overview

Working alongside our client, an established injection moulding manufacturer, we are looking for 2 skilled Injection Moulding Technicians to join their team to support continued business growth.

Remit

• This position will suit a skilled Injection Moulding Setter / Technician who is looking to further their career within the industry
• This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Mould Setter with good injection moulding machinery and processing knowledge to join a forward-thinking company offering further training and development opportunities
• Candidates MUST HAVE several years' experience within setting, conditioning and process optimisation of injection moulding machines and experience with a range of materials.

Role

• Perform tool changes and support with tool change process improvements
• Ensure optimum cycle times are achieved and maintained
• Identify implementation of process improvements within the factory
• Identify and solve processing problems
• Ensure all injection moulding equipment is operating efficiently
• Liaise with the works engineering department for all tool repairs and maintenance
• Ensure the correct Health & Safety and housekeeping levels are maintained
• Support the Technical Manager in maintaining good disciplines of housekeeping, scrap reduction and production efficiencies

Experience Requirements

• Previous experience within injection moulding manufacturing is ESSENTIAL
• Experience of process problem solving within an injection moulding environment
• Experience with Engel, Krauss Maffei or Toshiba injection moulding machines an advantage
• Basic level of Numeracy and Literacy is required
• Good communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
