Job summary

A well-established UK manufacturer is seeking an experienced Injection Moulding Technician to join their production team. In this hands-on role, you will set up, operate, and maintain injection moulding machines, ensuring quality and production targets are met. Key responsibilities include supporting operators, performing fault-finding, and adhering to strict Health & Safety standards. The position offers a salary of £35,000 per annum plus shift allowances, 23 days of holiday, and additional benefits such as free onsite parking and gym access.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Injection Moulding Technician, Setter, or Process Technician.
• Strong understanding of injection moulding processes and general manufacturing practices.
• Hands-on experience with machine set-up, tool changes, and fault-finding.

Responsibilities

• Setting up and operating injection moulding machines in line with production plans and specifications.
• Installing and changing mould tools safely and efficiently.
• Monitoring product quality against specification sheets and control samples.
• Carrying out preventative maintenance and resolving technical or mechanical issues to minimise downtime.
• Supporting and guiding operators on correct materials, processes, and quality standards.
