Job summary

South West Recruitment Ltd are recruiting for an Injection Mould Machine Operator in Poole, Dorset. The role involves setting up mould machines, programming, servicing, and repairing equipment, with the maintentance log kept up-to-date. You will work with technical drawings and ensure tooling is properly set up.

The position is full-time, on-site, with hours Monday-Thursday 8:00-16:30 and Friday 8:00-13:30. Salary is market related and reflects experience.

Qualifications

• Understanding of technical drawings.
• Experience in setting up mould machine tooling.
• Record all maintenance work in the maintenance log.
• Service machines and repair when needed.

Responsibilities

• Set up mould machines and write programmes.
• Calibrate applicators when required and perform maintenance tasks.
• Attend production meetings when required and report faults.
• Help build products as needed and document issues in the log.

Job description

We are recruiting for a Mould Machine Setter / Operator for a well established engineering company in Poole, Dorset.

Hours

Monday to Thursday 8.00am to 4.30pm

Friday 8.00am to 1.30pm

Duties

• Service machines
• Set up mould machines and write programmes for the machines.
• Repair machines that break down.
• Set up applicators and calibrate when required.
• Record all work carried out onto the maintenance log.
• Do any maintenance that is required at cable first that meets your skill level.
• Attend production meeting with the production manager when required.
• Record all faults in the maintenance log.
• Help to build products when it isrequired.
• Understanding of technical drawings.
• Have experience in setting up mould machine tooling.
