Job description

Title: Infrastructure Technical Architect

Duration: 5 Month contract initially

Location: Hybrid - 50/50 onsite in London.

Rate: £575 - £625 p/d (via Umbrella company)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide architectural leadership for end-to-end solution as part of the programme, ensuring seamless integrations of project activities.
• Instrumental in design development, troubleshooting, and validating change impacts within live service environments.
• Lead solution architecture across full implementation life cycle and validate and assess changes against in-service systems.
• Conduct deep-dive investigations and own remediations.
• Have deep experience of working in secure services environments.

Key Skills & Experience:

• End to end solution architecture (troubleshooting and developing designs whilst whole solution impacting within the design/implementation).
• Wintel generalist with application architecture knowledge.
• Familiarity with virtualisation platforms (VMware, others acceptable).
• NetApp storage experience: SAN/NAS, snapshots, replication.
• Good understanding of networking (ACI) and firewalls.
• Ability to deep-dip on investigations to steer remediations.

Additional Requirements:

• Required to undertake an application assessment of applications residing on a legacy hosting environment and conduct an application compatibility assessment to evaluate the application life‑cycle and maturity of workloads currently operating on the legacy hosting platform to determine if they can be migrated to a new ESX environment.
• Candidates holding or who have held high level security clearance in the past are most welcome to apply. Successful applicants will be required to be security cleared prior to appointment which can take up to a minimum 18 weeks.
