Job summary

Talos in London is seeking a Software Engineering Intern to join the Infrastructure team for Summer 2027. You will collaborate with engineering squads to build, scale and maintain the system that powers Talos’s trading and settlement platform, gaining hands-on experience with distributed systems and platform engineering.

The role requires pursuing a BSc in CS or related field (Class of 2028), experience with Python/Go/Java, Linux, and cloud platforms like AWS or GCP, with strong communication

Qualifications

Pursuing a BS in Computer Science or related field (Class of 2028).
Familiarity with Python/Go/Java and Linux.
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the team to design, maintain and scale infrastructure systems.
Contribute to automation initiatives, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and deployment tooling.
Support the performance of production systems through monitoring, logging and observability improvements.
Cross-functionally communicate with teams to understand and implement infrastructure requirements.
