Job summary

Marshall Wolfe is partnering with a national organisation to recruit an Infrastructure & Security Engineer for a 6-month fixed-term contract in Luton. The role focuses on strengthening infrastructure and security posture, delivering upgrades, migrations and transformation projects.

You will work with Azure, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune and Windows Server, contribute to security reviews, vulnerability management, IAM initiatives and produce technical documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft cloud and on‑premise technologies (Azure, Microsoft 365)
• Security-focused infrastructure experience
• Knowledge of security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls)
• Experience delivering infrastructure migration/transformation projects
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities

• Deliver infrastructure upgrades, migrations and modernisation projects
• Support Microsoft cloud and on-premise technologies including Azure and Microsoft 365
• Conduct infrastructure security reviews and implement security improvements
• Support vulnerability management and remediation programmes
• Assist with identity and access management initiatives
• Produce technical documentation, operational procedures and implementation plans
• Work with stakeholders across technology and business teams to ensure successful project delivery

Infrastructure & Security Engineer

Marshall Wolfe is delighted to be partnering with a national organisation in their search for an experienced Infrastructure & Security Engineer to join their technology team on a 6-month fixed-term contract.

This is an exciting opportunity for a technically strong infrastructure professional with a passion for cyber security to play a key role in a range of strategic technology initiatives. You will work alongside internal teams and technology partners to strengthen infrastructure, improve security posture and support the delivery of critical transformation projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver infrastructure upgrades, migrations and modernisation projects

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Relevant Microsoft certifications highly desirable
