Job description

We are seeking an Associate to join our Manchester Infrastructure, Projects & Energy team, supporting a diverse client base across social infrastructure, energy, utilities, and transport. Our team is highly ranked in Legal 500 and Chambers for Water, Transport, Local Government, and Health, and you will work closely with five partners and colleagues across our UK and international offices.

What You'll Do:

• As one of the most established multi-disciplinary teams in the sector, we advise funds, developers, asset managers, operators, financial institutions, energy and utility companies, government bodies, and NHS Trusts on innovative, complex projects. Our work spans water, outsourcing, renewable energy, transport, and healthcare, both in the UK and globally, including "first in class" schemes.
• Recent projects include advising on hospital PPPs, social housing regeneration, student accommodation redevelopment, and commercialising IP for NHS Trusts. In energy and utilities, we have led on major infrastructure projects such as the Haweswater Aqueduct Resilience Programme and Sizewell C nuclear power station. Our transport team is recognised for expertise in rail, urban transit, ports, and logistics, and we are on legal panels for key sector bodies.
• You will advise private and public sector clients on commercial contracts and transactions, gaining experience across our key sectors. The role offers excellent career prospects within a dynamic, supportive team, with access to our market-leading Associate development programme.
