Job summary

Emagine Consulting is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Lead to drive the migration from legacy infrastructure to a modern, cloud-based platform built on Microsoft Azure. You will lead cloud networking, infrastructure architecture and transformation initiatives within a highly regulated financial services environment.

Working with UK and US stakeholders, you will shape cloud strategy, oversee migrations, ensure resilience and regulatory alignment, and guide teams through complex multi-cloud

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale Microsoft Azure infrastructure solutions.
• Proven track record leading complex cloud migration and infrastructure transformation programmes.
• Strong expertise across Azure Networking, Hybrid Cloud Connectivity, Network Security, Virtual WAN, ExpressRoute, IAM.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, build and configuration of the Azure cloud environment to support the transformation programme.
• Assess and remediate fragmented network landscape, consolidating connectivity across environments.
• Resolve connectivity and integration challenges between Banking and Securities platforms.
• Design and implement robust network architectures including Availability Zones, HA & DR, failover, resilience and business continuity.
• Evaluate and advise on multi-cloud strategy, architecture and operational implications.
• Drive migration from US-hosted infrastructure to a modern cloud-based architecture.
• Collaborate with US technology teams to align with global architectural standards.
• Ensure infrastructure solutions meet regulatory, security and operational resilience requirements (PRA expectations).
• Provide technical leadership across cloud networking, infrastructure architecture and transformation initiatives.
• Support the wider technology modernization agenda minimizing disruption while delivering strategic change.
• Partner with stakeholders to deliver enterprise-scale Azure infrastructure solutions and migration programmes.

Desirable Experience

• Experience assessing or operating within multi-cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Understanding of AI technologies and their application within banking transformation programmes.
• Experience leveraging AI for reverse engineering, application discovery, or modernisation initiatives.
• Knowledge of PRA, FCA, operational resilience, and cloud regulatory requirements within financial services.
• Experience supporting core banking platform transformation programmes.
