Job summary

Macquarie Capital invites an Off-Cycle Intern to join the Infrastructure Principal team in a 6-month program beginning January 2027. You will work with experienced investors to evaluate opportunities across energy transition, digital infrastructure and related sectors, gaining exposure to financial modelling, due diligence, and execution of transactions that shape long-term impact.

You will collaborate across projects, support origination and assessment activities, and report to senior team

Qualifications

• Penultimate or final year of university, or a recent graduate with an interest in financial services and investing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to interpret numerical information.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate potential investment opportunities across digital and energy infrastructure.
• Assist with financial modelling, market analysis, due diligence and investment materials.
• Support transaction origination and assessment activities and help create insights informing strategic investment outcomes.
