Job summary

Turner & Townsend in Birmingham is recruiting Estimators and Senior Estimators with proven experience across infrastructure sectors (rail, highways, power, marine, water or utilities). The Midlands region supports major programmes with opportunities in Birmingham and Nottingham offices.

Estimators can work embedded with clients or on ad-hoc pieces, regionally remote within the Midlands as workload allows. Our team delivers estimating and commercial intelligence outputs to support client

Qualifications

• Qualified to high standard in Estimating or Quantity Surveying with proven relevant experience.
• Proven experience delivering estimating/QS services on large projects.
• Experience using estimating software packages.
• Membership of a relevant professional body with chartered status or working towards.
• Desirable membership of RICS / CIOB /A. Cost E.

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate and comprehensive estimates and cost plans for projects on time.
• Manage the estimating process at project level.
• Prepare estimates without direct supervision.
• Assist in gathering and sharing estimating data.
• Support development of estimating best practice within Turner & Townsend.

Education

Estimation/Quantity Surveying degree or equivalent
