Job description

FishEye Software is seeking Software/Hardware Integration Engineers to join the Radar Infrastructure Development and Integration Team. Our team is responsible for providing the operating system (OS) framework and integrating software developed on various hardware platforms. You will be working primarily in Red Hat Linux, and also configure Windows systems within a Layer 3 network.

You will work on many parts of the infrastructure development lifecycle using configuration management practices with problem tracking to implement OS level configurations to support applications and Cyber requirements. In addition, system installation and operations in the field will also be necessary.

In this role, you’ll solve complex technical problems and support multiple programs and platforms. Your work will include real‑time and application software development, testing, data analysis, and developing software tools. Success in this role requires familiarity with agile development, automation, and continuous integration.

This position requires an active DoD Secret Clearance and is 100% on‑site in Marlboro, MA or Tewksbury, MA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Configure, install, and maintain RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and Windows operating systems.
  • Set up and manage network switches (Dell, Cisco, etc.) and related network devices (NAS, terminal servers).
  • Support and improve the DevSecOps pipeline, driving automation and test integration efforts.
  • Troubleshoot pipeline outages and software baseline stability issues efficiently.
  • Collaborate with multi‑level engineering teams to integrate and test real‑time embedded and application software.
  • Maintain and enhance tooling infrastructure supporting software development and integration.
  • Participate in system installation, testing, and operations at field sites.
Required Skills
  • This position requires an Active Secret Clearance; US Citizenship is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
  • Minimum of 4 years of hands‑on experience in software/hardware integration or related engineering roles.
  • Experience with Linux (preferably RedHat) operating systems and scripting such as Python, Bash, or Perl.
  • Familiarity with configuration management tools (ClearCase, Git, or similar).
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and experience working in collaborative engineering teams.
Desired Skills
  • Experience with DevSecOps, Jenkins, Grafana, and test automation.
  • Hands‑on experience with virtualization technologies.
  • Programming experience in C, C++, or Java.
  • Familiarity with code review tools (Collaborator) and static analysis tools (Coverity).
  • Knowledge of software development tools including GIT, Jira, Artifactory, BitBucket, and Grafana.
Salary Range

The annual salary range for this position is $120,000 - $160,000 USD. The final salary will be determined based on the selected candidate’s education, experience, skills, certifications, and other relevant qualifications, as well as applicable client or government contractual rates.
