Job summary

A Bristol-based technology business is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer with strong Mac experience to join a fast-paced team. The role combines hands-on infrastructure work with cross-functional initiatives across technology areas.

The successful candidate will work in a hybrid setup, with three days per week in the Bristol office, tackling infrastructure projects, endpoint security, and MDM management while collaborating across the business.

Qualifications

• Solid experience as an Infrastructure Engineer, Systems Engineer or similar.
• Strong experience supporting Mac environments.
• Experience with MDM / endpoint management.
• Some experience with Windows environments.
• Understanding of infrastructure, networking, security and cloud technologies.
• Experience implementing and rolling out new technologies or infrastructure.
• Proactive, hands-on approach to problem solving.
• Experience in a start-up/scale-up or fast-paced environment is advantageous.
• Willingness to wear multiple hats and get involved beyond immediate area.

Are you an Infrastructure Engineer who enjoys being hands‑on, solving problems and getting involved in more than just the day‑to‑day IT environment?

I'm working with an exciting, growing technology business in Bristol that is looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast‑paced environment, where no two days are necessarily the same and you're encouraged to get involved across different areas of technology.

The ideal person will have experience in a start‑up or scale‑up environment and be comfortable wearing multiple hats. You'll have the opportunity to work on infrastructure projects, contribute to the implementation of new technologies, improve existing systems and jump in to support colleagues and the wider business when needed.

What you'll be doing

• Managing and supporting the company's infrastructure and end‑user environment
• Getting involved in the implementation and rollout of new infrastructure, systems and technologies
• Managing and improving device environments and endpoint security
• Troubleshooting hardware, software and infrastructure issues
• Supporting and improving the company's MDM environment
• Working across both Mac and Windows environments

• Working closely with colleagues across the business and helping wherever your technical expertise is needed

What we’re looking for

• Experience in a start‑up, scale‑up or similarly fast‑paced environment would be highly advantageous
• A willingness to wear multiple hats and get involved outside your immediate area of responsibility
