Responsibilities

• Specify and deploy Windows Server & Desktop operating systems.
• Manage migration of Windows Server OS and Active Directory.
• Define and troubleshoot Microsoft Active Directory Group Policy.
• Implement and configure SAN storage systems.
• Deploy and manage VMware infrastructure.
• Integrate supporting systems such as monitoring and Anti-Virus.
• Create hardened build standards and conduct vulnerability scanning.

Infrastructure Engineer – Full‑time onsite Hemel Hempstead – 6 months – DV Cleared.

Description

The role involves responsibilities for design, build and integration of on‑premise IT infrastructures.

Responsibilities

• Windows Server & Desktop specification & deployment, including operating system builds using toolsets such as MDT, SCCM
• Windows server OS and Active Directory domain version uplift/migration
• Definition, deployment and troubleshooting of Microsoft Active Directory Group Policy
• SAN storage implementation, configuration and systems migration
• VMware infrastructure deployment and management
• Integration with other supporting systems such as monitoring, patch update and Anti‑Virus
• Implementation of hardened build standards and use of vulnerability and compliance scanning tools
• Production of High and Low level design documentation and build guides
