Infrastructure Engineer (Devops - Linux)
Tewkesbury / remote hybrid - £40,000 - £65,000

A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join of one of the fastest growing and most exciting technology companies in the area.

The Infrastructure Engineer will join a high performing team to build and support the infrastructure for various customer projects. It would suit someone from an infrastructure or devops background and strong Linux skills.

Some of the key responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Install and deploy new infrastructure for customer projects
  • Advanced Linux system admin
  • Administering AWS cloud environments
  • Deploying and managing virtual infrastructure
  • Providing support, diagnosing system failures and resolving outages

To be successful in the role, you will likely have experience of the following:

  • Experience as a Linux focused infrastructure or devops engineer
  • Knowledge of cloud systems - preferably AWS
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals and protocols
  • Knowledge of Python, Bash or similar

Based in Tewkesbury, the role is easily commutable from Cheltenham, Gloucester, Worcester & Stroud, plus they have a number of people commuting in from Bristol. The office is based just off the M5 and there is free parking on-site. The company operate a hybrid working environment, with 3 days required on-site (although this could occasionally be more depending on the project).

The role requires eligibility for DV clearance (prior clearance is not required)
