Job summary

Macquarie Group in London is seeking an Analyst to contribute to the growth of its private credit platform, focusing on investment grade infrastructure debt in the UK and Europe. You will work autonomously, supporting origination, assessment and execution of opportunities under supervision, while assisting fundraising and investor relationships.

The role requires strong credit/financial analysis, numeracy and excellent communication skills, with a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset and ability

Qualifications

• Experience in a transferable role, contributing to complex transactions across a broad spectrum of sectors such as social infrastructure, renewables, energy, transportation and digital infrastructure.
• A track record of managing deals
• Highly numerate and skilled in all aspects of credit and financial analysis
• An effective team player with excellent communication skills, capable of liaising with stakeholders at all levels
• Highly motivated, entrepreneurial, proactive, resilient and able to demonstrate sound business judgement

Responsibilities

• Support origination, assessment and execution of new investment opportunities under supervision
• Assist in investment approval process and execution of investments
• Assist relationships with borrowers, sponsors and advisors; support portfolio asset management
