Infrastructure Associate - Co-Investments - SWF

We have exclusively partnered with an APAC Sovereign Wealth Fund, which is seeking a highly motivated Investment Associate to join a leading infrastructure investment firm based in London. This role offers the opportunity to be part of a highly balanced environment between strong deal flow and market leading work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Play a key role in the origination, evaluation, and execution of infrastructure investments, with a focus on sectors such as transport, energy, digital, and social infrastructure.
  • Conduct financial modelling, valuation, and due diligence to assess potential investment opportunities.
  • Assist in structuring and negotiating transactions, working closely with senior team members and external advisors.
  • Support the active management of portfolio companies, including monitoring financial performance, identifying value creation initiatives, and participating in strategic decision-making.
  • Prepare investment memos, presentations, and reports for internal committees and external stakeholders.
  • Stay up to date with market trends, regulatory developments, and industry dynamics to identify attractive investment opportunities.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • 2-5 years of experience in an Infrastructure M&A or PE role.
  • Excellent track record, showcasing a strong level of responsibility and ownership of workstreams during past and ongoing transactions. (A deal sheet will be requested)
  • Strong financial modelling, valuation, and analytical skills, with experience in project finance and M&A transactions.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams and contribute to deal execution in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent commercial acumen and strategic thinking, with a strong understanding of infrastructure investment fundamentals.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in another European language is a plus, but not a requirement.
