Job summary

A leading ICT Recruitment Consultancy is seeking an Infrastructure Analyst for a six-month contract to troubleshoot production issues and support a Platform team in Coventry. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in IBM Storage Technologies and cloud platforms like AWS/Azure. A commitment to provide high-level technical support and a proactive approach in an Agile environment are essential. This role is on-site two days a week.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding and application of IBM Storage Technologies.
• Experience with Cisco UCS and HP Blade infrastructure.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents.
• Escalate issues to Senior Engineers as needed.
• Work collaboratively within an established Platform team.

Our client is looking for a Infrastructure Analyst to join their team on a six month initial contract, working two days a week onsite in Coventry. This role is Inside IR35.

The role will be will joining an already established Platform team, providing a level of technical knowledge to undertake the troubleshooting and resolution to production incidents or problems independently escalating to Senior Engineers if required.

Key Skills

• An understanding and practical application of IBM Storage Technologies including Block Storage & File Storage systems
• An understanding and practical application of Spectrum Scale
• Experience working with Cisco UCS & HP Blade infrastructure
• appreciation of Backup software (Commvault)
• An appreciation of Storage technologies (IBM, Block Storage, File Storage etc)
• An appreciation of Monitoring Technologies (SolarWinds, AppDynamics, Datadog etc)
• An appreciation of Cloud technologies (AWS / Azure) and associated features
• An understanding of Linux command line technologies
• Knowledge of AWS server administration and features
• Some experience of working within an Agile delivery environment
