Job summary

Venesky-Brown are supporting a Major UK Infrastructure Project and are recruiting a Project Manager for an initial 6-month contract in London, 2-3 days per week. The role pays £656.25 per dayInside IR35 and requires strong Prince2/APM methodology, multi-vendor delivery, and stakeholder engagement.

You will define, plan, execute, and close Digital & IT projects, maintain PIDs, manage schedules, budgets, and risks, and ensure governance and regulatory compliance across the delivery lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Strong project management methodology knowledge (Prince2/APM or equivalent).
• Experience delivering IT/digital projects in regulated or safety-critical industries.
• Budgets up to £1.5m management experience.
• Proven multi-vendor and multi-discipline delivery leadership.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead definition, planning, execution, and closure of Digital & IT projects to baselined targets.
• Develop and maintain PIDs with cost, schedule and resource estimates.
• Oversee delivery partners and ensure contractual commitments are met.
• Produce detailed project schedules and manage critical paths and resources.
• Manage all project lifecycle phases: design, build, test, deployment, and go-live support.
• Track risks/issues/changes and escalate as needed.
• Ensure governance, information security and regulatory compliance.
• Provide timely reporting to PMO and governance boards.
• Support lessons learned and continuous improvement.
