Job summary

Rothstein Recruitment is seeking an Information Security Lead for an international bank in London. You will lead a team of InfoSec consultants, guiding regulatory-driven modernization and risk management across the bank.

The role requires practical information security expertise, a focus on secure technology change, and the ability to navigate privacy concepts within a financial services context while working closely with delivery teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Solid, practical experience in information security, including regulatory considerations.
• Experience supporting technology change initiatives to deliver secure solutions.
• Good understanding of core privacy concepts as they apply to tech changes.
• Knowledge of Risk Management and Information Security within a Financial Service context (3LoD).

Responsibilities

• Lead risk & control assessments with defined bank processes (supplier due diligence, privacy impact assessments, security reviews).
• Develop practical solutions to security risks and enable teams to deliver securely.
• Support workstreams to articulate risks and drive mitigating controls within agreed timeframes.
• Develop expertise in secure change processes and guide workstreams through approval gates.
• Build trust-based relationships with developers, testers, product managers, delivery leads and tech leads.
• Provide specialist advice on information security best practices and regulatory requirements when new products/systems are developed.
