Job summary

RaptorTech Recruitment Ltd is seeking an Information Security & Assurance Officer in Ipswich to own governance, assurance and the ongoing development of an ISO 27001-aligned ISMS for a high-profile programme.

You will oversee security controls, manage assessments and supplier assurance, maintain audit docs and support incident response, acting as onsite security expert for M365, IAM, endpoint protection, vulnerability management and SIEM.

Qualifications

• Experience in information security assurance and cyber security operations.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials Plus, NIST CSF and UK GDPR.
• Experience with Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, EDR/XDR and vulnerability tools.
• Incident response and SOC experience.
• Strong stakeholder management and reporting skills.
• Experience in a regulated environment would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

In your new role you will take ownership of information security governance, assurance and the ongoing development of an ISO 27001-aligned Information Security Management System for a high profile programme of work.

Alongside this you will oversee security controls across corporate and project systems, manage security assessments and supplier assurance, maintain audit documentation and support incident response.

As the onsite expert you will also cover Microsoft 365 security, identity and access management, endpoint protection, vulnerability management, SIEM monitoring and collaborate with managed security partners.

What you will need to succeed:
