Job summary

Experian is seeking an enthusiastic Junior Information Security Officer to gain hands‑on experience in governance, risk, compliance, audit, and vulnerability management within a global organisation. You will support the Information Security Manager for EDQ, helping ensure ISO 27001, SOC 2, and regulatory requirements are met while improving EDQ's security posture.

You will collaborate with colleagues, customers, auditors, and partners across regions, travel occasionally to regional EDQ offices

• Awareness of cyber security principles and frameworks (e.g. ISO 27001, NIST, Cyber Essentials), with relevant certifications or a willingness to obtain them.

Responsibilities

• Support ISMS maintenance and improvement.
• Assist with adherence to ISO 27001, SOC 2, and regulatory requirements.
• Support ISO 27001 certification activities across regions.
• Assist SOC 2 attestation activities for EDQ's flagship app.
• Track audit findings and remediation actions.
• Monitor vulnerabilities and report on remediation efforts.
• Analyze security incidents and trends for improvements.
• Coordinate security inquiries with partners.
