What it's like to work here
Reporting to the Information Security Manager, you'll join a supportive, security-focused IT team committed to strengthening our security posture. We actively support professional development, encouraging certifications and hands-on experience that benefit both you and the Trust. Your contractual location will be our head office in Swindon and there'll be an expectation for you to attend the office. However, there's flexibility on where you're based at other times. You'll be required to work at a National Trust location for 40-60% of your working week. This will be discussed in more detail at interview.
As an Information Security Officer, you\'ll help embed good security practices across the Trust, supporting teams to understand governance, risk, and compliance (GRC), manage risks and maintain accurate, secure information. You\'ll help deliver security initiatives, working with IT, project teams, and suppliers to ensure our standards are met. This is a varied role where you\'ll help shape a strong security culture by raising awareness, delivering training and supporting our mission to protect people, places, and data.
