Salary: £43,000 - 83,000 per year
Requirements:
- 2-4 years in an Information Security or dual IT/Security role, ideally within a regulated industry or government-adjacent sector.
- Familiarity with cloud platform security, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and MDM solutions for managing corporate devices.
- Understanding of UK Data Protection/GDPR and ISO 27001.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, SSCP, or CISM are a significant plus.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and evolve our security management systems, ensuring alignment with security frameworks and standards such as Cyber Essentials Plus and ISO 27001.
- Work with the Head of Security to develop and implement security policies that balance security needs with the agility of a modern tech company.
- Conduct internal audits and coordinate with external assessors to maintain our security posture.
- Assess the security of our supply chain and software vendors.
- Work with internal teams to harden our cloud environments and ensure end-user devices are configured securely.
- Run and remediate vulnerability scans, helping identify and fix issues.
- Support our incident response team by investigating alerts and refining playbooks for future threats.
- Manage the lifecycle of software licenses and access controls, ensuring the principle of least privilege is met.
