Local Pensions Partnership Administration (LPPA) is hiring an Information Security Specialist to strengthen governance, risk and assurance across the organisation. The role sits in Risk & Governance and reports to senior leaders and governance forums.

Qualifications

• Substantial practical experience in information security governance, security risk management or assurance.
• Experience leading security risk assessments or assurance reviews and presenting findings.
• Experience assessing technical and organizational controls, incidents and third-party due diligence.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and continuous improvement of LPPA’s information security management framework, policies, standards and procedures.
• Maintain information security risk profile with governance reporting.
• Provide authoritative advice on security risks and treatments to Technology and business owners.
• Lead information security assurance programmes including control reviews and remediation monitoring.
• Coordinate with external advisers, auditors and assurance partners.
