Job summary

ISOQAR in Oxford, UK is expanding its Lead Auditor team and inviting applications from professionals with strong audit and client-facing skills. The role includes planning and leading third-party audits, reporting findings, and building lasting client relationships as part of a comprehensive training programme.

Training to achieve Lead Auditor qualifications in Quality Management Systems (9001) and Information Security Management Systems (27001) is provided.

Qualifications

  • Hands-on operational experience in a relevant industry.
  • Excellent communication, analysis, and report writing.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regionally/nationally.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, conduct, and lead independent, third‑party audits.
  • Gather objective evidence and prepare audit reports.
  • Host opening and closing meetings with clients.
  • Build professional client relationships.
  • Continue developing knowledge of standards and industry practices.
  • Complete auditor training and achieve Lead Auditor qualifications (supported by ISOQAR).

Description

Due to continued growth, we are expanding our Lead Auditor team. With onsite practical experience and deep knowledge of industry processes, policies, and regulations, you'll help clients reach their full potential. While internal audit experience is helpful, it's not mandatory as we offer comprehensive training via our academy. Following your Global and Divisional inductions, you will embark on a 12-week training programme, including classroom and onsite learning with a Senior Lead Auditor to achieve your Lead Auditor qualifications within Quality Management Systems (9001) and Information Security Management Systems (27001).

We’re particularly interested in candidates who bring experience beyond IT. Be sure to highlight any work experience since leaving education on your CV.

What you’ll need to be successful

You’ll bring hands-on operational experience from a relevant industry or industries and understand how organisations operate day to day. Strong communication skills, analytical thinking and clear, accurate report writing are essential, alongside a professional and methodical approach.

You’ll also be comfortable with regional and national travel (including occasional overnight stays) and hold a full UK driving licence. Your integrity, technical knowledge, and ability to deliver high-quality, value-adding audit reports will enable you to thrive in this role.
