Babcock is seeking an Information Security Lead at the Devonport Royal Dockyard site in Plymouth. This is a full-time, on-site role with 35 hours per week and offers an attractive benefits package.
You will lead information security assurance across critical infrastructure projects, develop assurance plans, support audits and bids, and manage risks and evidence to ensure compliance. Strong collaboration with MoD and cross-functional teams is essential.

As an Information Security Lead, you’ll play a vital role in safeguarding critical infrastructure and major defence programmes. Working across key projects within the Defence Nuclear Enterprise, you’ll lead the delivery of robust information security assurance, ensuring systems, data, and operations remain secure and compliant.
Day-to-day, you’ll collaborate with technical specialists, programme teams, and external stakeholders to manage risks, provide assurance, and embed strong security practices. It’s an opportunity to develop your expertise in cyber and information security while contributing to high-profile, safety-critical programmes.
This role is full time, 35 hours per week and is based on site at Devonport Royal Dockyard.
The successful candidate must be a sole UK National who is able to achieve and maintain Security Check security clearance for this role.
