Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a visionary Information Security Architect to design and implement secure solutions across Randburg operations. This senior role focuses on creating blueprints for security infrastructure and ensuring security is embedded in IT systems and applications.

You will define security standards, evaluate new technologies, and provide technical leadership to safeguard confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets while guiding risk assessments and security

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• 7+ years in information security with architecture/design focus.
• Experience with AWS/Azure and on-prem/cloud design.
• Familiar with NIST/ISO 27001 and compliance.

You will work on defining security standards, evaluating new technologies, and providing technical leadership to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets. This is a critical position for a strategic thinker with deep technical expertise in cybersecurity.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure IT infrastructure, cloud environments, and application architectures.

Requirements

• Experience with designing secure solutions for on-premises and cloud environments (AWS, Azure).
• Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and relevant compliance regulations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
