Job summary

Harrington Starr is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to support international cyber security initiatives across a regulated environment. The role covers governance, risk, security operations, and stakeholder engagement to strengthen practices globally.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in cyber security, understands regulatory requirements, and is eager to work with AI-enabled tools to improve reporting and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years' experience in Cyber Security or a related discipline.
  • Good understanding of cyber security principles, risks, and security controls.
  • Familiarity with local and international regulatory requirements.
  • Certifications are desirable but not essential.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to build relationships with technical and business stakeholders.
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Interest in AI and emerging technologies to boost productivity.
  • Collaborative mindset and eagerness to learn and develop professionally.

Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation and monitoring of cyber security policies, standards, and programmes across the business.
  • Partner with technology, risk, and business teams to strengthen cyber security practices.
  • Assist in identifying, assessing, and reporting cyber security risks, control gaps, and remediation activities.
  • Support cyber security investigations and incident response alongside Security Operations teams.
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, presentations, and updates for senior management and governance forums.
  • Track and communicate the progress of cyber security programmes and initiatives.
  • Coordinate activities to support security events and help protect business operations.
  • Promote cyber security awareness and best practices across the organisation.
  • Support the adoption of AI-enabled tools to improve reporting, analysis, operational efficiency, and business processes.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the cyber security function.

Join a growing Cyber Security team and help protect critical business systems, data, and operations.

We're looking for a Cyber Security Anslyst to support the delivery of cyber security initiatives across international operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong foundation in cyber security who is looking to develop their expertise in governance, risk, security operations, and stakeholder engagement within a highly regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

About You:
