Job summary

A leading eMobility company in Camden Town is looking for an individual to support and improve their ISMS and related controls. This role involves internal and external audits, risk reviews, and promoting security awareness. The ideal candidate should understand ISMS operations, ISO 27001 standards, and possess strong governance, risk, and compliance skills. You will collaborate across technical and non-technical teams to enhance security practices.

Qualifications

• Understanding of how an ISMS operates and knowledge of standards such as ISO 27001.
• Experience and strong interest in governance, risk, compliance, and audit work.
• Good grasp of key information security and data protection ideas.

Responsibilities

• Support the running and improvement of our ISMS and related controls.


• Support internal and external audits by gathering and organising evidence.


• Take part in risk and supplier reviews and keep actions on track.


• Keep policies, procedures and registers up to date.


• Help with security awareness activities across the team.


• Work with colleagues across technical and non-technical teams to embed good security habits.


• Identify opportunities to make assurance and compliance processes more efficient.


• Your work will help maintain our ISO 27001 certification and strengthen everyday security practices across Electroverse.

Qualifications

• Understanding of how an ISMS operates and knowledge of standards such as ISO 27001.


• Experience and strong interest in governance, risk and compliance and audit work.


• A good grasp of key information security and data protection ideas.


• Great organisation and attention to detail.


• Clear communication skills and the confidence to work with different teams.


• A practical, flexible approach that suits a busy environment.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity across frameworks like SOC 2, NIST and COBIT.


• Hands-on experience supporting ISMS audits and certifications such as ISO 27001.


• Experience with supplier assurance and third-party risk management.


• Familiarity with cloud and SaaS platforms such as AWS and Google Workspace.


• Security certifications (any of the famous abbreviations).
