Job summary

Method Resourcing Ltd is working with a highly regarded financial services organisation to strengthen its Information Security function. This hands-on security generalist role offers genuine ownership and the freedom to drive meaningful improvements across controls.

You will collaborate with engineering teams, apply across multiple disciplines and help improve security maturity, incident response, and vulnerability management while navigating a regulated financial services environment.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on Information Security experience across multiple disciplines.
• Experience with Microsoft Sentinel, Defender, KQL and Entra ID.
• Solid understanding of vulnerability management, identity security and security operations.
• Knowledge of NIST and ISO 27001 frameworks.
• Experience collaborating with software engineering teams and an understanding of DevSecOps.
• Exposure to security automation, with Microsoft Purview experience advantageous.
• Previous experience within a regulated financial services environment.
• Someone proactive, technically curious and comfortable taking ownership.

We're working with a highly regarded financial services organisation looking to strengthen its Information Security function with an experienced, hands‑on security generalist.

You'll work across a broad range of Information Security disciplines, helping to improve security maturity, strengthen existing controls and take ownership of technical security initiatives.
