Job summary

AECOM is seeking an Information Manager & Power Platform Developer for the Transportation Engineering team in the UK. This hybrid role combines information management systems with custom Power Platform solutions across the infrastructure lifecycle, delivering data governance, dashboards, and automated workflows.

You will design, develop, and deploy Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI, provide end-user training, and manage multiple projects to support UK rail, authorities, and contractors

Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science or Engineering required.
  • Proficiency in ProjectWise and ACC Information Management.
  • Strong understanding of data management principles including ISO 19650, data governance and security.
  • Ability to analyse business processes and translate them into digital solutions.
  • Strong data visualization and reporting skills to present insights effectively.
  • Experience in training and supporting end-users to maximise tool adoption.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain information management systems ensuring data accuracy, accessibility and security.
  • Implement best practices for data governance, compliance and lifecycle management.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify information needs and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Design, develop, and deploy Power Platform apps, workflows, and dashboards using Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
  • Create intuitive dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights and support decision-making.
  • Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring effective adoption of digital tools and processes.
  • Act as a champion for digital transformation, promoting a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Manage projects from concept to implementation, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organisational goals.
  • Monitor project performance, identify risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.

Do you have experience delivering Information Management solutions within a Common Data Environment, as well as using the Microsoft Power platform?

Our Digital Solutions Team are looking for anInformation Manager& Power Platform Developerto support our Transportation business. We providetechnical leadership of projects throughout the infrastructure lifecycle - from feasibility, preliminary and detailed stage designs. Our clients span both the private and public sector, including the major custodians of the UK’s rail network,numerouslocal authorities, and major contractors.

Our solutions span real-time traffic management, through spatial presentation of project data to tools that manage the timing of planning and environmental consents.Working within the Digital Solutions Teamyou will:

Information Management

  • Develop andmaintainefficient information management systems to ensure data accuracy, accessibility, and security.
  • Implement best practices for data governance, complianceand lifecycle management.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders toidentifyinformation needs and deliver tailored solutions.

Digital Development Using Microsoft Power Platform

  • Design, develop, and deploy custom applications, workflows, and automation using Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
  • Create intuitive dashboards and reports toprovideactionable insights and support decision-making.
  • Continuously explore and implement innovative solutions to enhance digital capabilities.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business challenges and deliver technology-driven solutions.
  • Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring effective adoption of digital tools and processes.
  • Act as a champion for digital transformation, promoting a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Project Management

  • Manage projects from concept to implementation, ensuringtimelydelivery and alignment with organisational goals.
