A leading construction and engineering firm in Scotland is seeking an experienced Information Manager to establish governance and manage data flow within the Common Data Environment. The ideal candidate will have strong technical and communication skills, experience in managing information for infrastructure projects, and be passionate about collaboration. This role offers flexible working with the possibility of remote work.
Balfour Beatty are looking for an Information Manager to join their Power T&D Division. Based in Scotland.
Role Purpose: Responsible for establishing governance and assuring data and information flow to and from the common data environments (CDE). Reviewing Employers Information Requirements (EIR) then producing and maintaining BIM Execution Plans (BEP), Information Management Plans and other related documents (MIDP for example).
The Information Manager will manage the Common Data Environment, ensuring all project information is available and up to date. They will encourage collaborative working, information exchange and aid the project team throughout. The Information Manager has no design related duties.
