Our Team

We are a strong, dedicated, and successful environmentally focused Information Management team looking to grow further to support WSP's robust pipeline of secured projects. We are proud of our friendly, supportive, and collaborative culture, which allows our team members to develop their skills and grow.

We are a centre of excellence and an integral part of our Earth & Environment discipline, where we provide project management and information management support on our projects. This encompasses PMO, Project Controls, and Project Manager and Information Management roles; we work across all stages of the project delivery cycle.

Our achievements mean we seek information controller with a strong understanding and awareness of environmental consultancy, a passion for optimising project delivery, and an inclusive and supportive approach to team development.

Your New Role: What's Involved?

The Information Manager will be overseeing the information management processes in line with ISO 19650 standards. This includes development and managing the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) to ensure compliance with project requirements, establishing and managing Project Information Exchange requirements to ensure seamless information flow between stakeholders, and ensuring the Common Data Environment (CDE) is maintained and utilised effectively.

You will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with various departments to establish and enforce information management standards and procedures. You will report to an Environmental Information Manager and will work on a diverse and exciting range of environmentally led projects across the UK in both the public and private sectors.

The types of projects that we deliver are highly varied and include some of the UK's most exciting and nationally important large-scale infrastructure schemes (for example, National Grid's Great Grid Upgrade, East-West Rail, and Sizewell C), as well as associated developments and programmes for the built environment. Our clients are public and private entities, and key sectors we operate in include highways, rail, aviation, defence, nuclear, residential and property, energy generation and renewables, and transmission and distribution. We have a broad coverage across the project cycle, from supporting business cases, and securing consents and permits (DCO), to design and construction.

Responsibilities
  • Implement and manage information management processes in line with ISO 19650 standards.
  • Ensure the Common Data Environment (CDE) is maintained and utilised effectively.
  • Develop and manage the Master Information Delivery Plan (MIDP) and Task Information Delivery Plan (TIDP).
  • Develop and manage the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) to ensure compliance with project requirements and ISO 19650 standards.
  • Manage Project Information Exchange requirements to ensure seamless information flow between stakeholders.
  • Collaboratively manage, agree upon, and communicate project Information Standards and Methods & Procedures documentation, working closely with the BIM Manager/Digital Lead.
  • Adopt a security‑minded approach to data, ensuring that correct access rights are established and maintained for the appropriate duration.
  • Provide training on information management systems.
  • Perform quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the standards expected.
  • Manage the review, exchange, and distribution of project drawings and models, all while maintaining a consistent naming standard (ISO 19650).
What we will be looking for you to demonstrate
  • Evidence of experience in BIM roles and Project Information Management.
  • Evidence of being a confident communicator, both in person and through digital channels.
  • Evidence of collaboration and determination to learn new skills and solve problems.
  • Degree in a relevant discipline (such as environment, project management, engineering, science, building or quantity surveying) or a combination of relevant project management experience and qualifications.
  • Experience of working within a project or PMO environment.
  • Knowledge or experience of using various Common Data Environments (CDE).
  • Knowledge of experience of working with ISO 19650 standards and information management frameworks.
