Job description

Were looking for a Data Protection & Information Governance Manager for our public sector client based in Dudley on an initial 6-month contract paying up to £450 per day Inside IR35.

This role offers hybrid working with flexibility to attend the office in Dudley as required.

The successful Data Protection & Information Governance Manager will play a key role in leading the organisations approach to data protection and information governance, ensuring compliance with GDPR, UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018, and PECR. Youll advise senior stakeholders, oversee policy development, and drive best practice across the organisation.

Required Skills and Experience :

• Proven experience managing corporate data protection and information governance functions
• In-depth knowledge of UK and EU data protection law
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience in developing and implementing governance frameworks and compliance strategies
• Relevant qualification such as ISEB / BCS Data Protection Certificate or equivalent
