Job summary

East and North Hertfordshire Teaching NHS Trust is recruiting an Information Governance Specialist to support the Head of Cyber Security and Information Governance in delivering the IG strategy and improvement programme.

You will ensure compliance with the Data Security and Protection Toolkit, provide leadership on information governance, and interpret legislation and national guidance to support the Trust.

Responsibilities

• Support the Head of Cyber Security and Information Governance in reviewing and implementing the Trust's IG Strategy and improvement programme.
• Lead on ensuring the Data Security and Protection Toolkit requirements are met.
• Provide leadership and expert advice on information governance across the Trust.
• Develop and deliver policies and work programmes to meet statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Identify risks across the Trust related to information governance and maintain an IG Risk Register.
• Interpret legislation and national guidance to ensure the Trust meets the requirements.
