Job summary

Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Information Governance Data Security and Protection Specialist (Band 7) based in Gloucester. You will support the Head of Information Governance, manage the IG/Access to Records team, oversee DPIAs, and ensure UK GDPR compliance with robust policies and training across the Trust.

Qualifications

The post holder will deliver the Data Security and Protection Toolkit annual return and Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs).
They will draft and review data sharing and data processing agreements and act as a subject matter expert on data protection and data security for the Trust.

Responsibilities

Provide IG training and guidance to staff at all levels within the Trust.
Identify IG and IT security gaps and develop new policies and procedures in collaboration with IT and IG teams.
Support data breach investigations and ensure UK GDPR compliance through robust actions and reporting.
