West Yorkshire Combined Authority is seeking an Information Governance Coordinator in Leeds on a hybrid, full-time basis (37 hours per week). The role focuses on administering information requests under FOI and Environmental Information Regulations, supporting the Information Governance team.
You will build relationships across directorates and Information Asset Owners to help ensure compliance in a fast-paced environment. The post is subject to vetting clearance and UK residence requirements.

Please note that the Combined Authority will consider requests for part‑time working and/or job share. We currently have a vacancy for an Information Governance Coordinator to join our Information Governance team.
As our Information Governance Coordinator, you will play a vital role in providing efficient administrative support to the Information Governance team, particularly providing the effective administration of requests for information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and Environmental Information Regulations 2004.
You will build strong working relationships across the Combined Authority directorates and Information Asset Owners, contributing to a positive working environment for your team.

Due to the nature of this role, it is a requirement that the successful applicant will be subject to relevant vetting checks at the appropriate level and any job offer will be conditional subject to successful vetting clearance. Applicants should be aware that it is not possible to make meaningful vetting enquiries in many jurisdictions outside the UK. Vetting clearance cannot therefore be granted if the applicant has not been resident in the UK for the relevant minimum period and comparable vetting enquiries cannot be made in jurisdictions where the individual has been residing.
