Psychiatry UK is the UK’s leading provider of digital psychiatry services, working both privately and with the NHS to support children, teenagers and adults with expert, patient‑centred care.
A career with Psychiatry UK allows you to expand your knowledge, enhance your skills, and gain valuable life experience—all while enjoying the flexibility of a remote full‑time role. As part of a leading online mental health service, you'll collaborate with innovative, forward‑thinking professionals in a dynamic, multidisciplinary team committed to making a real difference.
The Information Governance and Compliance Officer role is a fast paced and evolving role requiring drive and enthusiasm and a thirst for continuous learning and development. The post holder will need to work on their own initiative, being accountable for actions, with an ability to organise both their part of a team workload and personal day‑to‑day activities. Work is managed rather than supervised and the post holder will organise own workload on a day‑to‑day basis. The postholder must have a suitable home working environment to support confidentiality and understand that the role will evolve to meet the developing requirements of our healthcare organisation. A background in healthcare data protection would be beneficial.
This is a home‑based role (applicants must reside in the UK), though occasional travel may be required for face‑to‑face meetings and training within the UK.
Highly organised and detail‑oriented, with a strong sense of accountability and excellent verbal and written communication skills. You’ll be confident handling confidential information, proficient in IT, and capable of producing high‑quality reports to make things happen. A team player, you’ll engage effectively with stakeholders, manage competing priorities, and meet strict deadlines. A sound understanding of data protection and a commitment to excellent service are essential, along with a willingness to learn and grow within the field of Information Governance. You will be team orientated and willing to work alongside others to uphold the PUK values.
We want you to enjoy your work while feeling healthy, happy, and appreciated. That’s why we’ve created a benefits package designed with you in mind. You’ll have access to a range of wellbeing perks, including a Health Cash Plan, Well Hub Subscription, access to an Employee Assistance Programme, Annual Volunteering Day, Enhanced Sickness and Family Leave pay, Length of Service Bonus, Work from Home allowance and Pension options.
At Psychiatry UK, we care about what matters to you.
