Role Summary

Information and Compliance Officer (SS.4741-V5) – Social Services Directorate, Swansea Council
Salary: £36,363 – £39,862 per year
Closing date: 11.45pm, 02 December 2025

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist advice and technical expertise in developing and maintaining data and information systems for both strategic and operational use.
  • Collect, analyse and report on performance data to inform the commissioning process and support continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with legislation and best practice in information management and sharing protocols.
  • Coordinate responses to Freedom of Information and Subject Access requests.
  • Support grant funding applications with robust data analysis.
  • Provide training to colleagues and collaborate with internal and external partners.
  • Develop innovative approaches to data management and performance monitoring.
Qualifications & Skills
  • High level of technical competence in data analysis and information systems.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in multi‑agency working.
  • Committed to supporting the delivery of high‑quality services for Swansea’s communities.
