The Senior Information Analyst within the Digital and Data Services at Tees, Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust will focus on understanding clinical pathways and outcomes, developing data collection processes where needed, and analysing and presenting analytics to support patient care and decision making.

This is an exciting opportunity (fixed term - 12 months) for a self-motivated individual to join the Business Intelligence and Clinical Outcomes team (BICO) within Digital and Data Services. The BICO team support clinical and business decision making using data analytics presented in meaningful and interactive ways. The team provide historical and current views of important Trust operations and utilise analytical expertise to provide actionable insight into key Trust areas. The team help to improve patient care, provide clarity to operation managers, influence best practice and policy and aid overall understanding of a wealth of Trust data. Within Digital and Data Services, the Business Intelligence and Reporting section includes delivery, operations, development and research, statistics and clinical outcomes. This means that there is a wide range of skills across the section and ample opportunity for development which is encouraged and supported., The Senior Information Analyst post holder will work to understand clinical pathways, outcomes and the data collected, develop processes for collection where appropriate, analysis, validation, presentation and reporting of clinical and corporate business analytics data. This will include ensuring the Trust's information reporting obligations to the Department of Health, NHS Digital, NHS England and Commissioners are met. The post holder should also be competent in the use of information software (e.g. SQL and Cognos) to extract and analyse the necessary data.
