Job summary

Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Clinical Support Worker for the Lime Green Infant Feeding Team (Band 3). The post is part-time, 22.5 hours per week, based mainly in the Mansfield area, delivering personalised breast/chestfeeding support and education to families in hospital and at home.

The role requires organisational skills, ability to work independently and within a team, and involvement in audits, education and administration tasks.

Qualifications

• Fluent English speaking and writing required.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Able to communicate with and disseminate information from the multidisciplinary team.
• Understanding of equal opportunities policy.
• Awareness of safeguarding issues and data protection.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based breast/chestfeeding support to women and birthing parents.
• Deliver antenatal and postnatal support in home and hospital settings in Mansfield area.
• Offer infant feeding education face to face and in class settings; support staff training, audits and administration tasks.
